Accounting/office Administrator

KLH Industries is searching for a highly organized and motivated Accounting and Office Administrator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled individual to provide comprehensive accounting and administrative support, ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our office and support the engagement of our employees.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Assist with bookkeeping functions, such as data entry, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory and order new supplies as needed.
- Ensure the office and common areas support a pleasant and productive work environment.
- Greet visitors and maintain a professional office environment.
- Manage customer invoices.
- Partnering with the Director of People for special projects, HR initiatives, and organizing and coordinating employee events.
**Qualifications**:
- High School education or GED required.
- Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong accounting software skills (e.g., QuickBooks) a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
