Customer due diligence and KYC (Know Your Customer) are essential to protect the global financial system from money laundering and financing of illegal and criminal activities. Swift’s KYC Registry is a secure global platform providing predefined data fields and document types to standardise and streamline the data collection process. To date, almost 6,000 financial institutions are using Swift’s KYC Registry to both publish their KYC data and receive data from their counterparties. It is recognised as the accepted standard for correspondent banking due diligence. The registry has now been extended to corporate customers of Swift to help simplify the KYC process between banks and corporates.

Swift KYC Operations teams are the core team who orchestrate the end-to-end process, from customer onboarding to data validation and webinar facilitation to guide customers on the contribution, data refresh and consumption processes which ease their KYC due diligence checks. We are a dynamic teams located in multiple regions, we are looking for individual who have great team spirit, customer centricity and having continuous improvement mindset that fits into our big family.

What to Expect:

- Help our KYC Registry clients during KYC onboarding, data contribution, reconfirmation and consumption stages.
- Client management - perform follow-up with clients on a timely manner, contacting clients to increase usage of KYC Registry.
- Collection and validation of requested KYC documentation and performing verification on the banks' identity and their beneficial owners (including draft of structure charts based on received corporate documents).
- Interface with internal functions to ensure compliance in the delivery of products and services.
- Identify opportunities for improvement on processes, procedures or tools.
- Provide highest quality customer services and support in compliance with all internal and external procedures.
- Acquire operational, process and product knowledge to resolve clients' inquiries and problems.

What will Make You Successful:

- 2-3 years of experience in KYC, compliance, due diligence or AML
- Customer focused and able to establish and maintain supportive interpersonal relationships with internal and external customers.
- Excellent customer management with great presentation and influencing skills
- Works well under tight deadlines and understands how to prioritize time independently, adapts easily to challenging projects, and high attention to detail
- Collaborative team worker, well organized, able to work autonomously, and a growth mind-set mentality.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills, Spanish fluency is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
