We have an immediate opening for an experienced Accountant in a fast-paced startup environment. Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of comprehensive accounting experience, with a strong proficiency in MS Excel.
Position Responsibilities:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all transaction processing functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable (invoicing and collections), Payroll, Taxes, Benefits, account reconciliations, and assisting with general ledger management.
- Supporting the monthly financial close process, which involves account variance analysis, reconciliations, and preparing adjusting journal entries (Deferrals/Accruals).
- Assisting with cash management tasks, including maintaining cash flow forecasting models.
- Collaborating with CFO consultants to develop and maintain financial forecasting models.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role.
- A solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong Excel skills, particularly in data analysis.
- Experience with payroll, AP, invoicing/AR, journal entries, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.
- A deadline-driven, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
- A commitment to going the extra mile for clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as this role involves client interaction.
- A self-motivated, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently.
- A proactive mindset, adaptable to changing priorities.
