**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Executive to support Walter's growth. You will be responsible for new business development and lead generation, with a strong focus on qualification and transformation of B2B leads generated by our digital marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with the CMO and report directly to the CEO, and spearhead the development of a sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment.

- Having a positive environmental impact through responsible recycling of material
- Creating job opportunities for young adults facing obstacles to employment in Brownsville, Brooklyn

We offer solutions for organizations looking to dispose of their unwanted materials securely and responsibly, and work with many global firms and their sustainability teams. Our service includes pick up, removal and tracking of recycling of office and electronics waste.

In 2023, WALTER was recognized by The French-American Entrepreneurship Award (FAEA).The company is embarking on an exciting new phase of development with ambitious goals in the coming years.

**What we are looking for**:

- Full-time availability (M-F)
- 3-5 years experience working in new business development, customer acquisition and/or related sales and marketing experience, ideally in a B2B environment
- Experience with sales pipeline development and management.
- A result-driven individual with strong sales acumen and a hunting mindset.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Customer-centricity, with the ability to customize sales approach.
- Experience with inbound and outbound marketing strategies is a plus.
- Passion for environmental and social impact. Experience working in a startup and/or sustainability is a plus.

**Where you’ll work**:
You will be based out of our office in Brownsville (possible remote/hybrid after 6 weeks training) and will mínimally travel to client and networking events, within metro New York.

**What you'll do**:

- Generate new business opportunities, prioritizing your actions and efforts towards sales performance objectives, and proactively adjusting your strategy to ensure achievement of goals.
- Achieve and/or exceed your sales targets and metrics, such as pipeline management activity rates, calls/meetings/visits, and conversion ratios.
- Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports, with recommendations for improvement if objectives are not met.
- Regularly provide insights into prospect and customer needs and behavior, leveraging front-line experience to inform the business and marketing strategy.
- Utilize Salesforce software to track sales activities and manage customer interactions

**Qualifications**:
Core Sales Skills:

- Pipeline Development and Management: planning, managing and optimizing a B2B sales pipeline in order to generate new business for the company.
- New Business Acquisition: ability to set-up discovery calls and meetings to identify customer’s needs, customize sales approach, demonstrate how service fits the customer’s needs.
- Closing Deals: ability to influence, respond to objections, convince and close deals.
- Planning: Setting priorities, establishing objectives and milestones, scheduling activities effectively.
- Reporting: Capacity to identify and present actionable, data-backed recommendations to improve lead generation efforts and overall marketing performance

Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with Inbound, Outbound Sales, and ABM.
- Experience working with SalesForce, Pardot or similar CRM.
- Previous experience in the US market, especially the NYC area is a plus.
