Waste Connections has an Internship/Contract opportunity for an Instructional Designer at our corporate office in the Woodlands, Texas
In this role, you will:
- Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including eLearning modules, instructional videos, presentations, and assessments.
- Work closely with Leadership, Training Coordinators, and SMEs in operational roles to assess needs, develop strategies, design solutions, and execute implementation of training that supports the learning needs of our key front-line employees.
- Ensure that training content is aligned with company culture, branding and values.
- Review and edit training content for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design standards.
- Support with the management and organization of multiple projects across estimated timelines.
- Assist in coordinating course management and tracking via Workday LMS.
Desired skills/interests:
- Familiarity with multimedia design and development (e.g., graphics, video editing)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with (LMS) and eLearning standards (e.g., SCORM)
