Job Summary:
The Data Install Manager: This position acts as the single point of contact for the General Contractor and is the field representative for our company during construction of multi-dwelling unit properties. The role will lead field operations for their assigned projects including, but not limited to, installation of preconfigured network devices, installation of structured cabling (copper & fiber) as required and supervise the installation and configuration of low voltage systems (access control, camera surveillance, guest entry, IoT/smart home, audio & video).

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Lead & manage project resources (internal & subcontractors) to successful project scope completion.
- Install or supervise the installation of various network components.
- Perform troubleshooting of the data network devices and associated cabling infrastructure.
- Verification & quality control of the project scope of work.
- Track and schedule labor needs, and place orders for materials, to meet construction schedules.
- Request periodic schedule updates from the General Contractor as required to collaborate with the Project Management team for planning.
- Work with Buyer(s), Inventory Management team, and Project Management team to track and maintain inventory on job sites.
- Assist in monitoring project budgets, project issues, scope changes, risks, and milestones with the project management team.
- Regular reporting of work done by project resources (internal & subcontractors).
- Communicate scope changes and risks to occupancy dates to internal and external resources, as required.
- Remove project roadblocks in the field and creatively assist in conflict resolution to improve team productivity and overall project delivery.
- Maintain and enforce a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Construction field experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate strong sense of initiative and urgency.
- Ensure project deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.

- Working knowledge of Data Network requirements and one or more low voltage systems: (access control, camera surveillance, guest entry, IoT/smart home, audio & video).
- Ability to learn and demonstrate knowledge of other technologies.

Education and Experience:

- High School Diploma or GED required. College preferred.
- 3+ year’s knowledge and experience with networking, cabling, and one or more low voltage systems
- 3+ years of management and/or team lead experience strongly preferred.
- Awareness of networking and WiFi technology is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

- Up to 60% travel to out of state job sites.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
