Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Head of Retail for our NYC Flagship store and for the planning of all future retail stores worldwide. This role oversees the supervisors of the day-to-day functions of the store. They are accountable for every aspect of the retail store operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

- By demonstration - recruiting, hiring, firing, teaching, coaching, staffing, leading, and inspiring ALL store employees for existing stores as well as for new stores
- Reinforce the selling culture by explaining, demonstrating, imitating, correcting, and repeating proper selling techniques - and teaching managers to train their staff
- Hands-on motivating all DMs, AMs, and Store Managers plus all store staff to keep pushing toward the same goal - setting high expectations and inspiring people to reach them
- Fighting fires - being the first line to respond to issues at the store level and coordinating with others within the company to resolve them in a timely manner
- Setting long-term goals for success, and building strategies to achieve these goals
- Creating, implementing, and enforcing processes to achieve overall efficiency
- Develop and implement the overall strategic plan for the VIBE TWLV retail business, in alignment with the company's global objectives and regional market dynamics.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of sales, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability by identifying new business opportunities, expanding our presence in key retail channels, and maximizing sales performance across high end categories.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including airport authorities, cruise line operators, duty-free operators, and brand partners, to ensure alignment and support for our business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform and support strategic decision-making including product offerings, marketing strategies and customer experiences.
- Oversee the development and execution of annual plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring efficient resource allocation and financial performance targets are met or exceeded.
- Serve as a VIBE TWLV ambassador in the retail community, representing our values, culture, and commitment to excellence at industry events, conferences.
- Achieve sales targets (Sell-in and sell-out) working closely with operators.
- Develop and maintain clients relationships - Day to day operational communication, meetings with clients / stores / staff
- Inter-department collaboration (logistics, finance) on revenues/orders management
- Sell-in / Sell-out management: assortment, inventory/stock monitoring by door
- Monitor investment and profitability by account in alignment with company targets & budgets
- Manage contracts negotiations/renewals by client in collaboration.
- Identify new opportunities to grow retail sales and improve brand images
- Deep understanding of the retail landscape in the Americas region, including market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
- Ability to multitask, work independently and to react quickly with strong sense of urgency
- Strong ability to take initiative and ownership of projects, experience managing transformational business.

- Preferred: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
- 10+ years leading a sales organization
- 10+ years managing at least 30 employees within a geographically dispersed sales team (direct and indirect)
- Proven track record of recruiting and building a best-in-class team from the ground up (i.e., staffing a brand new store)
- Ability to manage a complex sales environment, with multiple channels, alliances and relationships
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and sales productivity throughout career
