Akira Technologies is looking for a Proposal Coordinator to join our growing proposal operations. The Proposal Coordinator supports and helps coordinate administrative activities of proposal developments. This role shall be responsible in ensuring high quality deliverables with assigned tasks and meets all required performance standards. Prospective applicants should demonstrate organizational skills, with experience and in-depth understanding of the nuances within Federal Contracting Industry.

This position will help support and report to the Chief Operating Officer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review quality of proposals for submission and final delivery through quality assurance and compliance checks.
- Coordinate regular cadence of stand-up calls to ensure tasks are accomplished and proposal schedules maintained.
- Assist with producing metrics for past performance questionnaires and narratives; also assist with resume mapping as needed.
- Take down notes during working group sessions and proposal meetings, with particular attention to action items and status reports.
- Maintain relevant proposal metrics.
- Conduct lessons learned post-award and debrief leadership on any unsuccessful bids.
- Experience in coordinating and updating Content Management System.
- Ability to work with tight timelines to meet deadlines.
- Ability to develop and/or assist technical and capture personnel in developing compelling themes, discriminators and messaging.

**Requirements**:

- At least one year of experience in understanding of the logistics and operations of complex proposals; and minimum of three-year experience working in the Federal Contracting space
- Knowledgeable in business development and the Federal procurement processes.
- Strong ability to organize material, rapidly assimilate information and provide support to proposal teams
- Demonstrated leadership skills and “command presence”: excellent interpersonal and team skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently and be a self-starter, and ability to multitask
- Expert usage of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, CRM tools (like Salesforce) - a nice to have
- Strong ability to coordinate proposal preparation and support activities with teaming partners that include (NDAs, Teaming Agreements and Data Calls)
- Ability to seamlessly work with internal staff - contracts, finance and management
- Ability to manage multiple projects ad proposals simultaneous, as sometimes proposal work require long, or unusual hours based on the volume
