Essay Video has been on the forefront of the production industry for the past 12 years. We provide services to a vast array of clients in the NYC Metropolitan area and around the country. What makes us so successful is our team of dedicated, innovative thinkers, creators, and visual storytellers with years of experience.

**Main Duties**
Examining, testing and resetting video equipment when it returns to our warehouse. Ensure the equipment is in good working order and good overall condition, in preparation for the next use, which includes:

- Closely inspect all equipment for any damage
- QC laptops and servers (PC & Mac); ensure software is up to date
- Neatly coil large fiber cables
- Help test and maintain engineering and recording racks
- Help prepare gear for upcoming events
- Line check LED processors, encoders, broadcast cameras, and other video equipment
- Test and clean fiber optic cables and convertors
- Clean equipment and make it look brand new for the next use

**Experience**:
An experienced video technician preferred, but willing to train the right individual.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
