Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Carpentry Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing construction documents, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review project specifications, drawings and other relevant documents to evaluate the scope and requirements for projects. Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and assess conditions.
- Utilize estimating techniques and software to prepare detailed cost estimates for projects. Estimate material quantities, labor hours, equipment costs, and subcontractor expenses based on project plans and specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids and proposals for projects. Ensure accuracy and compliance with client requirements. Collaborate with the project management and operations teams to develop bid strategies.
- Obtain quotes and pricing information from material suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors. Evaluate proposals and negotiate pricing and terms to secure best value.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, architects and contractors for carpentry projects. Communicate project details, answer questions and address client concerns to ensure client satisfaction.
- Identify risks and challenges associated with projects. Develop strategies and contingency plans to address potential risks.
- Prepare submittals as required

Skills/Qualifications:

- Strong math and organizational skills
- Ability to read, understand, and summarize bid documents
- Computer proficiency
- Experience with estimating software
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
