Job Overview:
PARALEGAL [CIVIL LITIGATION - PI - DEFENSE & PLAINTIFF]

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, such as pleadings and motions
- Organize and maintain case files and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw or other legal databases
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel
- Schedule appointments, depositions, and court hearings
- Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence
- Handle clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and phone etiquette
- IOLTA Account Administration

Responsibilities may also include:

- Assist the office with marketing materials and advertising efforts
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates for attorneys
- Provide administrative support such as answering phones and handling correspondence
- Interact with Spanish speakers for intake and ongoing client management

Qualifications:

- 5+ Years previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with administrative duties in a legal setting
- Spanish Helpful, Not Required

Pay: $40,000.00 - $93,600.00 per year
