Why CHOC?

Job Summary

The Fellowship Coordinator will be responsible for the fellowship duties for both ACGME and non-ACGME Fellowship Programs. Will work closely with Program Directors and Sr. Fellowship Coordinator at CHOC. Manages onboarding process for incoming fellows; coordinates orientation for incoming fellows; coordinates fellowship interviews for recruitment; provides administrative support for site visits; attends all GME and coordinator meetings; attends fellowship workshops and conferences; works with Program Director, Sr. Fellowship Coordinator, Resident Coordinator, and department administrative associate to ensure all ACGME online surveys are completed in a timely manner; coordinates graduation and fellowship retreat; coordinates all fellowship expense reimbursements for fellows and Program Director(s); and, provides general administrative support to fellows and fellowship programs.

Pay Range

Minimum $27.52 Midpoint $36.45 Maximum $45.40
- Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements._

Experience
- Required: Minimum three (3) years of administrative or clerical experience.
- Preferred: one (1) year experience working with a fellowship, residency or medical student program. One year experience in the healthcare environment

Education
- Required: Bachelor's degree or relevant years of experience and training may be accepted in lieu of education.

Training
- Required: N/A

Specialized Skills
- Required: Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, ERAS, NRMP, Zoom, and New Innovations. Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on multiple tasks simultaneously with careful attention to detail and with mínimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to shift priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to maintain complete and up-to-date files on all fellows. Interpersonal skills to effectively develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with faculty, administrators, staff, and fellows/residents. Service oriented and responsive to questions and requests. Ability to interact in a professional, resourceful, and courteous manner. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to obtain and convey information clearly, concisely, and accurately. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive materials and issues. Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to work with extremely complex faculty calendars/schedules requires extremely well organized and detail-oriented precision. Working knowledge of ACGME guidelines, policies, and procedures.
