Compensation Range:
The compensation for this role is set between $78,900 and $95,000. The established salary scales at UC determine the minimum pay based on rank and/or step at the time of appointment. This position may also include participation in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which allows for potential additional earnings.

Position Description

The University of California, Irvine (UCI) offers a comprehensive Breast Microsurgery Fellowship designed to cultivate advanced microsurgical capabilities and proficiency, emphasizing thorough breast reconstruction techniques. This fellowship spans one year and is designated as a Clinical Instructor role. The fellow will collaborate closely with seasoned microsurgeons who will provide mentorship and oversight. Alongside extensive exposure to breast reconstruction, the fellowship will also include comprehensive training across various microsurgical disciplines, including lymphatic reconstruction.

Requirements: Candidates must possess an M.D. and be eligible for the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Completion of an ACGME accredited residency program is mandatory. A California Medical License is required by the commencement of the fellowship. Compensation will be aligned with qualifications and experience.
