**Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Manage vendor/ supplier relationships while monitoring performance and ensuring the terms of the contracts are fulfilled.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to optimize terms and pricing.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to reduce procurement costs.
- Develop and execute short
- and long-term business plans and strategies to ensure revenue, profit, and cash flow growth.
- Inventory Management & Record Keeping
- daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Stay informed about market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- Establish strong relationships with the management team (Production, Sales, Quality Control, Finance, HR, etc.) to ensure alignment of company objectives and effective cross-functional processes.

**Equivalent Education, Experiences, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**:

- Minimum 5 years of progressive food industry-related experience and responsibility.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a track record of achieving business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Must be computer literate, particularly in spreadsheet; finance; inventory, and production planning.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must be okay working on weekends.
- Must be okay traveling between work locations (Los Angeles & Vernon).

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
