This assignment is for **in-person** Spanish classes. Language Connections is looking for a bi-lingual, creative, engaging, talented, and experienced Spanish as a Second Language Instructor for our corporate classes in **Haverhill, MA **for part-time employment starting **as soon as possible**.

SCHEDULE: Wednesday from **1:00 PM to 3:00 PM EST (every other week)**

LOCATION**:Haverhill, MA 01835**

LEVEL**:Beginner**

STARTING DATE**:ASAP**

**Skills and requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree;
- Teaching certificate;
- native/C2-level Spanish speaker;
- advanced/C2-level English speaker;
- minimum 5 years of Spanish teaching experience;
- strong communication and organizational abilities;
- detail-oriented, creative, dynamic, patient, and positive;
- familiar with different language teaching methods and Spanish textbooks;
- familiar with MS Word and MS Excel
- fluent Spanish speaker (preferred, but not required);
- experience living abroad and learning a second language is a plus

**Main responsibilities**:

- Teach Spanish classes and monitor students’ progress;
- Submit regular progress reports in MS Word or MS Excel ;
- Prepare classes and implement lesson plans;
- Assign and correct homework and tests;
- Assist in the process of curriculum review and development
