Program Support Specialist

Location: Movement School - Bridge View Elementary
Core Responsibilities:
Design, execute, and oversee activities and programs while ensuring the safety of participants and the quality of offerings. Program Support Specialists will be scheduled based on the needs of the selected regions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to effectively interact with staff, youth, parents, community leaders, educational institutions, and religious organizations.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Familiarity with youth development principles.
BI-LINGUAL IN ENGLISH/SPANISH IS A PLUS.
Comprehension of the organization's philosophy, vision, and objectives.
Capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with youth.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED or a college degree. A minimum of 6 months to 2 years of experience in program delivery. (Hourly compensation is based on education and experience level.)
Key Responsibilities:
Exemplify and advocate for Core Values.
Implement educational curricula.
Plan, execute, and supervise programs and activities.
Provide mentorship and role modeling to participants.
Create engaging displays and bulletin boards that highlight program areas.
Assist in the execution of national initiatives and exhibitions.
Inspire and mentor youth, adults, and volunteers in creative endeavors.
Maintain records of participants, schedules, attendance, and program outcomes.
Certification in First Aid/CPR is mandatory.
Additional duties as assigned.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Comfortable managing multiple projects alongside daily tasks. Ability to collaborate with diverse personalities while demonstrating tact, maturity, and adaptability. Physical demands include visual and auditory capabilities, standing for extended periods, and the ability to implement programs. Essential skills for success encompass effective communication, writing, and computer proficiency.
Work Environment:
After-school and recreational settings that involve both indoor and outdoor activities. Occasional weekend and evening commitments may be required to support organizational fundraising events and activities.
