**Qualifications**
- Basic knowledge in the following areas: First Aid / CPR, campus streets, buildings, and parking lots, general law enforcement procedures, vehicle laws, use of firearms. (preferred)
- Observes situations analytically, impartially, and objectively, and to record pertinent information accurately and completely. (required)
- Demonstrated verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with a diverse community. (required)
- Possess a valid California Driver's License (required)
- Must complete an accredited CA Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certified police academy and obtain certification as a police officer. (required)

**Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations**

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
