The Operations Manager is responsible for working in collaboration with the Laboratory Director to manage the daily operations of the laboratory.

OPERATIONS MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS
- Must pass criminal background check
- 5 years of professional management experience, including experience with recruiting, hiring, employee performance management, and operations management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to work independently under remote supervision
- Advanced conflict resolution skills

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Working in collaboration with Laboratory Director to manage day-to-day operations of the laboratory.
- Identifying and implementing process solutions for operation inefficiencies.
- Management of staff, including evaluating staffing needs, recruitment, performance management, and coordinating staff schedules.
- Client relations, including talking to clients about issues/concerns, coordinating pickups for testing and site visits.
- Marketing to existing/potential clients, including site visits.
- Preparing reports regarding status of lab on a periodic basis as required by the Company.
- To be trained and proficient in software as necessary to provide data/results to clients.
- Manage and keep track of company equipment, including driver’s signing in/out of company car.
- Manage, purchase, and maintain office supplies, which shall be paid for by the Company.
- Facility point of contact if any issues arise.
