**Job Summary**:

- We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Technical Writer to join our dynamic team at Vetspire. The primary responsibility of this role is to create clear, concise and comprehensive documentation for our software product Vetspire.

**Responsibilities**:
**Leading with Your Head**
- Develop and maintain high quality technical documentation including user guides, installation manuals, API documentation, release notes, training videos, demo videos and other supporting materials
- Review and edit documentation for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, ensuring adherence to company style guides and standards
- Translate technical concepts and procedures into clear and concise documentation accessible to both technical and non technical audiences
- Organize and structure content effectively to provide users with easy access to information and solutions
- Keep documentation up to date with product changes and updates, coordinating with development teams to reflect changes accurately
- Conduct users testing and gather feedback to continuously improve documentation quality and effectiveness
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to technical writing and software development
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure

- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand product functionality and requirements
- Drive successful communications, change, and implementation through recognized change management methodologies
- Recommend and take action where needed
- Excellent communication skills that include being approachable and proactive

**Leading With Your Hands**
- Develop and utilize standard templates to write requirements specifications accurately and concisely
- Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
- Participate in the selection of any requirements documentation that the organization may opt to use and serve as a bridge between technology solutions and business strategy, offering insights and recommendations to support decision making
- Participate in testing of new apps, integrations, and new modules of Vetspire
- Keep leaders informed with regular awareness reporting

**Key Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role in the software industry, veterinary software an advantage
- Driven and supported change management methodologies and communication plans
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong technical background and familiarity with relevant technologies/platforms
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
- Diplomatic approach to handling conflicts and managing stakeholder relationships
- Experience in managing relationships with vendors and external partners
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ideal knowledge with Jira, Figma & Confluence
