Pay Rate - $30 - $35/Hour


Responsibilities:


  • Partner with software developers, product managers, and subject matter experts to collect information and comprehend technical specifications.
  • Produce clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for GDKs, APIs, and other developer-oriented materials.
  • Create installation guides, setup instructions, and usage documentation for GDK libraries.
  • Maintain documentation accuracy, ensure it is up-to-date, and adhere to industry standards.
  • Simplify and present complex technical information in an easily digestible format.
  • Collaborate with the development team to gain practical experience with GDKs and their functionalities.
  • Perform in-depth research to stay informed about the latest GDK features, best practices, and industry developments.
  • Edit, proofread, and review documentation to ensure high quality, accuracy, and clarity.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Technical Communication) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience as a technical writer, with a focus on documenting SDKs, APIs, or developer-centric content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of software development concepts, APIs, and SDKs, ideally with experience in C#/.NET and TypeScript libraries.
  • Preferable experience with static site generators, such as DocFX.
  • Familiarity with creating multimedia content, like videos and tutorials, is a plus.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard documentation tools and platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a capacity to quickly understand complex technical concepts.
