Our day care center is a vibrant, supportive environment where seniors can engage in a variety of activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social well-being.
Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a diverse range of activities to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our seniors.
- Encourage participation and ensure activities are inclusive and adapted to various abilities.
- Maintain and update reassessments, quarterlies, and flow sheets accurately and timely.
- Foster a positive and energetic environment, promoting active participation from all attendees.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Continuously seek innovative ideas and approaches to enhance the activities program.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a relevant certification in activities coordination or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
- Previous experience working with seniors or in a similar role is preferred.
- Creative, energetic, and active with a passion for improving the lives of seniors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undergo training on reassessments, quarterlies, and flow sheets.
