We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. At Dartmouth Building Supply, the Office Assistant position plays a crucial role in supporting administrative functions, including various HR functions, clerical tasks, and providing general support across all departments. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist visitors, providing a friendly and professional impression.
- Tracks and assists in Department of Transportation required filings.
- Check Sales Tax records on daily invoices to check proper attributions.
- Assists Accounts Receivable Department in monthly statement mailings.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including coordinating interviews.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Maintain electronic and paper file records to secure company records as directed.
- Assist in coordinating all company events including vendor training, employee & customer BBQ's, new employee orientations, etc.
- Maintain all inventory for company supplies (office and break room)
- Ensure the cleanliness of the company breakroom is maintained.
- Primarily assists in general office tasks assigned by HR Manager and VP of Administration. Assist general management and other departments as requested.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in office administration or a related field is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good professional dress and appearance required.
- Must be able to walk throughout yards, plants, and offices.
- Physical demands include the ability to lift 5 lbs. on a consistent basis and 10 pounds on occasion. Bending, stooping, or sitting for long periods of time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office equipment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Must be willing to sign a company Confidentiality Agreement.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
