**ABOUT THE POSITION**:
We are seeking qualified independent contractors with experience in the cannabis industry. Contractors will have flexibility in their schedule, work in multiple departments, and attend shifts at each facility. A qualified contractor will be communicative regarding their flexible schedules, prepared for new experiences, and willing to travel to and train in various departments.
**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - PRODUCTION STAFF**:
**Obtain and maintain a valid Facility Agent (FA) License with AZDHS**
**Process marijuana plants ( **_trim buds, break down plants, prepare fresh frozen material for extraction, etc._**).**
**Package marijuana products, including flower ( **_bulk flower, pre-packed flower, trim, pre-rolls, kief_**) and concentrates ( **_shatter, badder, crumble, sauce, vape cartridges_**).**
**Assist in related work such as inventory, product preparation, sanitary practices, waste protocols, cleaning of tools and facility, etc.**
**Learn and uphold product quality standards.**
**Understand, abide by, and enforce AZ Department of Health Services ("AZDHS") rules, regulations and compliance standards.**
**Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.**
**Complete daily checklists of tasks with efficiency and precision.**
**Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and professional working environment.**
**Safely and compliantly move cannabis products throughout the facility.**
**Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail.**
**Keep up with a fast-paced and high-energy environment. We work hard, but we have fun while doing it**
**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:
**License/Certification**:Facility Agent (FA) card (required to start work)**
Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed.
Quick learner and willing to be coachable and flexible with work tasks.
Must be 21+ years old.
Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card.
Attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow instructions.
Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Reliable attendance and communication - show up to work when you say you will and do what you say you will do.
Reliable transportation.
Additional Qualifications (preferred):
Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal).
Desire for full-time employment opportunities with the company.
High school diploma or GED.
Cannabis-related education.
**Job Type**: Starting Contract, 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, occasional weekend availability.
Pay Rate: From $15.00 per hour
