Are you up for the dare?This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.Position SummaryAs a Senior Staff Engineer, you will play a key role in Continuous Improvement initiatives for an expanding factory. You will lead optimization and increase capacity of existing lines, working to reduce losses and waste. You will also manage high-priority capital projects from beginning to end, including concept, scope, estimate, cost, resources, and funding. In this role, you will be the voice of your larger team as you coordinate cross-functionally with leaders, employees, and contractors in the successful management and execution of key projects.Develop, implement, and coordinate the capital budget to improve and maintain equipment and facilities. Develop design/solutions in accordance with engineering safety, production, sanitary, and accounting procedures and specifications. Direct the installation of new equipment and/or modification/rearrangement of existing equipment for assigned projects. Monitor outside contractors to assure compliance with all company standards including sanitation, safety, quality, productivity, and budgeting. Prepare estimates, schedules, and issuance of all documents/drawings for construction on assigned projects. Evaluate bids, award contracts, and issue purchase orders and provide engineering consulting service to business teams. All other duties as assigned. RequirementsBachelor s degree in Engineering or a related field. 5+ years' experience in an engineering or project management role within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment. The approximate pay range for this position is $89,000.00 - $124,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
