As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be a member of our integrated health care team, providing specialized pharmaceutical services to patients and providers to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes for North Country HealthCare AZ. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting and evaluating medication histories, assessing compliance, and suggesting modifications for optimal drug product selection.
  • Individualizing medication regimens using sound principles and understanding of drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination.
  • Preventing, detecting, and resolving medication-related problems.
  • Effectively verifying patient medication orders for appropriateness and accuracy.
  • Providing concise, applicable, comprehensive, and timely responses about medication queries from patients and providers.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a salary range of $115,900-$139,100, paid licensure, federal tort malpractice and tail, CME funds, health insurance, dental, vision, 401K matching, employee assistance program, up to 7 weeks of combined paid time off, loan repayment and tuition reimbursement programs, and career growth and professional development opportunities.

Requirements include a professional degree (J.D., Ph.D., etc.) and 5 years of related experience and/or training. A current Arizona License or eligibility for license is required, as well as a current CPR certificate. Preferred certifications include Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Residency Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), or Ambulatory Care Pharmacy (BCACP) APHA disease state management certifications (MTM, Diabetes, Immunizations).
