**Qualifications**

**Minimum Education/Certification**

High School diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

**Minimum Experience**:
Three years secretarial/clerical experience, preferably in public education environment

**Special Knowledge and Skills**

Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, Power Point

File maintenance skills

Ability to follow written instructions

Ability to operate multi-line phone system

Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills

**Major Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assist with onboarding of substitutes
- Monitor Vector compliance courses
- Maintain HT website and social media accounts
- Maintain Campus and department rosters
- Onboarding of new employees; prepare new hire packet for review, schedule onboarding appointment and send new hire onboarding paperwork
- Assist with scanning new employee files into records management system
- Assist with the building and maintenance of employee files and records
- Data entry of employee deductions, direct deposit, professional dues, name changes, W4, and all other deductions submitted by employee
- Assist in verification of applicant credentials
- Coordinate and communicate with Department Leads/Administrators/Admin. Assistants regarding new hires and with all employees regarding their paperwork
- Track all new hires and distribute reports as needed
- Process paperwork and build files for all new employees
- Update employee information changes in eFinance Plus
- Produce service records for all employees as requested and prepare service records for Asst. Director to calculate new salary
- Assist with switchboard relief
- Maintain confidentiality
- Assist with ID badges
- Assist with job fair, A+ Banquet, and other department run ceremonies/banquets
- All other duties as assigned
