The CalSTRS Facilities Management Division is seeking a motivated individual to work as a Staff Services Manager II (Supervisory) in the Business Resilience Unit.
- The Facilities Management Division strives for total customer satisfaction internally and externally as we ensure efficient building operations, a safe, secure environment and outstanding, reliable services in the areas of Imaging, mail and business services.
- Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager III, Facilities Operations Manager, the Staff Services Manager II (SSM II) is responsible for management oversight of the Business Resilience Unit. The incumbent is responsible for leadership, policy formulation, implementation, and administration of the CalSTRS Business Continuity, Physical Security, and Safety and Emergency programs. The SSM II provides recommendations to the Facilities Operations Manager, Facilities Management Director, and the Chief of Administrative Services in the planning and program management as it relates to the Business Continuity, Physical Security Office, and Safety and Emergency programs.
- At the management level has strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities, effectively manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines within challenging and strict time constraints.
- Exhibits professional demeanor, excellent communication, the ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships, and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Experience at the management level building strong business partnerships internally and externally that add value to the organization.
- Experience at the management level with change management and assisting staff at all levels to navigate through various changes to their workload and environment.
- Well-developed analytical skills to drive workforce management, continually evaluate service performance level, and implement appropriate industry best practices.
- The ability to solve problems, promote new ideas, and develop new approaches to achieve established vision and strategies, at the management level.
- Training, supervision, and management experience.
- Excellent attendance and dependability.
- Demonstrates commitment to diversity of thought, an inclusive leadership style, and ability to give and receive feedback with the highest level of professionalism.
- Knowledge of current trends in Physical Security, Business Continuity, and Safety programs.

Every 12 months, based on performance evaluation, employees may receive a 5% salary increase until they reach the maximum salary for the position.
- **Telework Information**:We offer a hybrid approach including in-office and remote work solutions with staff working on-site at our Headquarters in West Sacramento two days onsite and three days remote, with the ability to be flexible based on business needs.

Working Conditions
