**The Opportunity**

**Responsibilities**:

- Work under the general supervision of the Construction Manager or Resident Engineer
- Monitor steel pipe welding activities for conformance to contract documents and applicable standards
- Perform non-destructive testing when required
- Prepare daily reports detailing pipeline installation and welding activities
- Coordinate testing and inspections
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**:

- Certified Welding Inspector Certification required
- Minimum twenty years of experience in construction management working as a certified welding inspector on large diameter steel pipeline projects
- Onsite experience performing CWI duties on public works projects.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and detail-oriented skills
- Solid experience with the MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience with Small to Large projects ($5M - $200M)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients
- Experience working with government agencies
