**Job Description**:
The International Training Coordinator is instrumental in making a difference for ESTI’s International Program by utilizing their specialized skills and abilities in scheduling, coordinating training dates, and matching appropriate Instructors to scheduled international classes held at Brayton Fire Field. Responsible for logistics which will include as appropriate ordering books, shipping, and ensuring the shipment of training materials to locations outside of the US. Audits and coordinates various activities with numerous Cooperative Learning Centers (CLC’s) located throughout the world.

This position reports to the Program Director.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Two years of emergency response training experience in at least one of the following disciplines: Rescue, Hazmat, Industrial or Municipal Fire, Emergency Response Operations. (Will consider an Associate’s degree with four years of emergency response training experience in at least one of the following disciplines: Rescue, Hazmat, Industrial or Municipal Fire, Emergency response operations, OR a High School Diploma/GED with six years of experience in training for at least one Emergency Response discipline such as Rescue, Hazmat, Industrial or Municipal Fire.

Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.- Must have a valid passport with a minimum of twelve months to expiration or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited college or university.- Eight or more years of experience in Adult Training experience in an Emergency Services related program.- Instructor 1 & 2 Pro-Board or equivalent qualification.- Any OSHA related qualifications.- Fluent speaking, written and understanding in the Spanish language.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors exposed to various weather conditions, potential allergens, elevated noise levels, and heat in differing country locations around the world.- Ability to support training delivery for up to 8-10 hours/day.- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.- Physical conditioning consistent with setting up classrooms, movement of training equipment etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both orally and in writing.- Ability to interact with clients positively and professionally from various countries.- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.- Working knowledge of normal office software.- Knowledge of principles and methods for teaching, instructing, and evaluating individuals and groups.- Skilled in utilizing various learning and active listening strategies.- Ability to comprehend and express information and use inductive and deductive reasoning.- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, possess self-starter and time management skills.- Knowledge and experience in producing cost sheets, proposals, and agreements.

- This position is security sensitive.- This position may require work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends.- This position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TEEX regulations and procedures.- All tasks and job responsibilities must be performed safely without injury to self or others in compliance with System and Agency safety requirements.- As part of TEEX’s mission of providing training, developing practical solutions, and saving lives; this position could be required, if called upon, to deploy within the State of Texas as directed by this position’s Division Director/HQ Department Head.- Ability to travel independently to other and/or remote locations by driving a personal or TEEX vehicle and/or flying on commercial airlines.- This position requires domestic and international travel.- Ability to travel for extended periods of time, up to 28 days.

Essential Duties, Tasks, and Percentages:
International Program Training Coordination - 70%- Ensures all International site inspecting documentation and materials are prepared before travel.-
- Prepares and submits all necessary Export Control documentation in a timely and accurate manner.- Prepares necessary cost sheets, proposals, and agreements for supervisor’s approval.- Assists in the delivery of courses for other programs when requested.- Ensures continued contact and coordination with our CLC
