Commercial Service Manager

Are you a motivated leader with a passion for customer service and automotive excellence? Broadway Ford Truck is seeking a Commercial Service Manager to oversee our service department and ensure the highest quality of service for our commercial fleet customers.
As the Commercial Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our service department, specializing in the needs of commercial trucks. You will collaborate closely with our team and the Service Director to deliver superior service, drive customer satisfaction, and optimize operations to meet the growing needs of our commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily activities of the commercial service department to ensure smooth operations.
- Work closely with the Service Director to manage service advisors and technicians, focusing on high-quality repairs and resolving customer and vendor issues.
- Use data and metrics to drive profitability and identify areas for improvement in the Service department.
- Work with Sales and Parts departments to optimize inventory management and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with the Mobile Service team to develop strategies that increase business and profitability in this area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial fleet customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure efficient scheduling and accurate service delivery to minimize downtime for customers.
- Provide leadership and training to the service team to maintain high performance standards.
- Manage a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff to ensure productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet the evolving needs of commercial customers.
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer and vendor complaints and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service standards and conduct regular quality control checks to maintain high service standards.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and expense control.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to cross-sell service products and offerings.
- Proven experience in automotive service management (preferably in Ford or commercial services).
- Strong understanding of Ford trucks and commercial fleet operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume department while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Knowledge of CDK and X-Time is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
