Position: Head of Business Development Publisher & Affiliate Partnerships
Compensation: USD $100,000 - $130,000 per annum plus up to 30% performance bonus
Location: Remote
We're one of the top 5 mattress brands in the US, and we're looking for a partnership strategist who can build revenue engines, not just manage relationships. Youll establish and scale performancedriven partnerships with tier1 publishers, content sites, and affiliate networksturning editorial relationships into measurable revenue while maintaining our 3:1 ROAS constraint.
Structure deals with Forbes, CNET, Sleep Foundation, and Wirecutter/NYT that generate millions in attributable revenue.
Partner with the 1%: Work with top tier publishers and industry leaders.
Gain Competitive Advantage Through Speed: Test, iterate, and scale winning partnerships in weeks.
5+ years of business development or partnership management experience in B2C/D2C ecommerce.
~ Proven track record recruiting and activating publisher partnerships with measurable revenue outcomes.
~ Experience with premium publishers such as Forbes, CNET, major review sites.
~ Performance marketing mindset: deep understanding of EPC, ROAS, CPA, and datadriven optimization.
Proficiency in affiliate tracking and partnership management platforms (Impact, Partnerize, or similar).
Experience with competitive intelligence tools (BrandVerity, Similarweb, Ahrefs, Visual Ping).
Strong analytical skills, ability to build financial models and ROI projections.
Comfortable with attribution frameworks and multitouch conversion analysis.
Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of structuring winwin partnership terms.
Strong relationship management across editorial teams, affiliate managers, content creators.
Ability to balance strategic, hightouch partnerships with scalable program growth.
Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple partnership tracks simultaneously.
Background running or optimizing paid acquisition campaigns.
Startup or scaleup experience: comfortable with lean operations and rapid pivots.
International partnership experience: coordinating with global partners.
Publisher/editorial background: understanding of content creation cycles.
