Role Summary

Innorna is seeking a strategic, execution-focused Head of Business Development to lead global out-licensing efforts for its therapeutic pipeline, while supporting platform-enabled opportunities. This U.S.-based executive will report directly to the CEO and serve as a key member of the leadership team, driving high-impact partnerships across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global out-licensing strategy for Innorna's therapeutic pipeline and platform-enabled assets
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate licensing and co-development deals with biopharma partners
  • Build and manage a robust network of potential partners globally
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, clinical, regulatory, platform and marketing teams to shape deal strategy and readiness
  • Represent Innorna at high-level BD discussions, conferences, and investor forums
  • Provide strategic input to the CEO and executive team on BD priorities and market dynamics

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of BD experience in biotech/pharma, with a strong track record in out-licensing or asset partnering
  • Deep understanding of RNA medicines, delivery technologies, and their scientific/commercial potential
  • Proven success in leading complex BD transactions from sourcing to close
  • Strong global network and presence in the U.S. biotech ecosystem
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Advanced degree in life sciences, business, or related field (MBA, MS, PhD, or equivalent)
