HealthSure’s P&C Account Manager is responsible implementation of insurance and risk management programs, an understanding of coverage details and options, ownership in client retention, responsibility in the delivery of insurance products, maintenance of carrier relationships and support for the service teams.  This person must be able to think holistically to both foresee potential issues as well as support the service team in exploration of technologies and workflows to improve efficiency.  Most importantly, this person must have demonstrated a proven commitment to service and realize that because they are interfacing with the management and employees of our client organizations, they hold responsibility for the ongoing success of the organization.


Account Management (approximately 80% of role)

  • Manage a book of mid-sized healthcare accounts
  • Lead most client meetings and follow a process where key questions are asked, client expectations are clear and confidence is demonstrated to ensure clients follow our advice.
  • Manage client relationships that resolve:
    • Specific Client Needs
    • Potential Service Challenges with both the client and the underwriting team
    • Client Claims/Concerns
  • New business quoting and proposal delivery to prospects
  • Embrace the company’s process for new account hand-off to ensure that you are focused on retaining and growing existing business.
  • Work with the P&C Team to identify areas in the organization where efficiencies can be achieved (workflows, technology, etc)
  • Clearly document every conversation and contact within the agency management system.
  • Provide backup support for other team members, as needed

Support tasks (approximately 20% of role):

  • Checking policies
  • Preparing summaries of Insurance
  • Account mentorship

Required:

  • Knowledge of insurance products, usages and markets
  • A high school degree
  • 3 years, licensed P&C commercial account management experience.
  • Agency Management system experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills, problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Above average analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • The desire and willingness to continue to grow and learn
  • Integrity, drive, ambition and a positive attitude

 Preferred: 

  • Applied EPIC experience preferred
  • Professional liability experience
  • A college degree
