We have a renewable continuing non-tenure-track Lecturer and Coordinator position beginning July 1, 2025. The Department of Mathematics seeks an exceptional teacher with a proven track-record in calculus instruction and
skills to coordinate our calculus program.

The teaching responsibility will be an average of 4.5 calculus courses per year. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, and must be able to demonstrate an exemplary teaching record, coordination skills and a commitment to mentoring undergraduates.

A successful candidate will fully participate in the life of the department. On top of teaching and regular service, the position carries the responsibilities of coordinating our calculus courses (which includes initial calculus placement online activities during the summer), as well as organizing departmental teaching assistants, learning assistants, graders and tutors.

The finalists will be invited to campus for on-site interviews in mid-to-late February, and we expect to be able to extend an offer to a successful candidate by early March.
