Financial Services Professional

Sell investment products including but not limited to stocks, bonds, mutual funds, fixed, indexed, immediate and variable annuities, life insurance, LTC insurance, UITs, ETFs, and REITs. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide investment solutions to customers based on their needs and goals.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews for existing clients.
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for managed accounts.
- Utilize sales training skills to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Develop and maintain a marketing program within designated market areas.
- Provide training to staff on sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Cross-sell F&M Bank products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and maintain relevant licenses and certifications.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and at least four years Investment Management and/or sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to utilize software tools provided by broker-dealer. Ability to use internet and websites to provide investment analysis.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, prospectus, and investment fact sheets. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and rate of return. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
