Apply or submit your contact information below if you are interested in learning how we can support your professional and personal goals.How you will contribute:Advising clients on enhancing tax opportunities and managing risk associated with mergers and acquisitionsAnalyzing tax risks of target companies using tax returns, accounting information, and interviews with managementPreparing and analyzing reports correlating tax diligence and tax structuring findings with client valuationsIdentifying issues affecting purchase price, deal structure, or deal terminationReading and advising clients with respect to purchasing agreementsRecommending post-acquisition actions to achieve tax efficiency and minimize tax risksWorking closely with executives, investment bankers, private equity and corporate clients, attorneys, or other stakeholdersWorking alongside other Forvis Mazars team members to exceed client expectationsWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to effectively supervise and coach team membersWillingness and ability to travelEnjoys Business Development & has experience retaining client relationships Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college/universityCPA license or admission to state bar requiredJD or master’s degree in taxation preferredA minimum of seven (11) years of experience in corporate or partnership tax or transaction tax (M&A tax), including at least two (2) years of tax due diligence, from a large public accounting or consulting firmStrong current knowledge in U.S. federal income tax, mergers, and acquisitions, and transaction servicesCurrent knowledge of state and local tax is a plusRecent experience with corporate and pass-through tax conceptsProficiency with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and PowerPoint

New York City Pay Transparency
Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. FORVIS reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.New York Salary Range:
