Siteworks GPS Technician

We are looking for a SiteWorks GPS Technician who is responsible for operating and maintaining GPS equipment and software. You will be integral in ensuring accurate data collection and analysis for construction projects as well as assisting construction crews in grading, excavation, and utility installation. You will also collaborates with teams on site layout and data collection using advanced technology like 3D machine control, modeling software, and GPS equipment.

We are looking for a SiteWorks GPS Technician who is responsible for operating and maintaining GPS equipment and software. You will be integral in ensuring accurate data collection and analysis for construction projects as well as assisting construction crews in grading, excavation, and utility installation. You will also collaborates with teams on site layout and data collection using advanced technology like 3D machine control, modeling software, and GPS equipment.

Key Responsibilities

GPS Operation: Utilize Trimble equipment and software for data collection and analysis.
Data Analysis: Interpret construction plans, perform calculations, and build models for machine control.
Field Work: Assist construction crews in grading, excavation, and utility installation.
Equipment Management: Troubleshoot GPS equipment, train staff, and maintain vendor relationships.
Quality Assurance: Verify data accuracy, adhere to plans, and maintain organized records.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in topographic data collection, volume calculations, site stakeout, and construction layout.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating Trimble GPS equipment.
Industry Background: Experience in heavy civil construction, road construction, or quarries.
Other: Valid driver's license and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Salary: $30-$40/Hour
