Job Description

PURPOSE AND PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITES A Deburr Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing aspect of the organization. Primary responsibility is to remove burrs, clean, and/or blast metal parts produced at CNC work centers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES - other duties may be assigned
  1. Removes burrs from parts arriving at Deburr work center in accordance with specifications given by work order package.
  2. Checks daily schedule (Dispatch List) to ensure what job(s) need to complete for the day.
  3. Checks equipment used to remove burrs. (Drills, Sanding machines, etc.)
  4. May be required to clean parts and/or sandblast parts.
  5. Performs constant quality checks for conformance to specifications and planning documents.
  6. Works under limited supervision.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  1. Requires 1 to 3 years on-the-job machine shop experience.
  2. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
  3. Proficient in spoken and written English
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  1. Must be able to read and interpret basic blueprint call outs.
  2. May be required to use measuring instruments to check specific part dimensions.
