AstrixTechnology LLC is currently in search of a Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our quality assurance team within the Food & Beverage sector. Work Schedule: Available for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts with potential overtime as required.
Compensation: $18/hr - $20/hr
This position is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, with the possibility of extension or conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage audits in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment.
- Monitor and program critical control points (CCP) throughout the production process.
- Perform sanitation verifications and allergen testing on machinery.
- Ensure adherence to product guidelines during processing.
- Collect laboratory samples and environmental swabs.
- Execute inspections of raw materials, in-line products, and finished goods while documenting findings.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma is required.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing is necessary.
- Must be available to work full-time on-site.
