A leading manufacturing firm is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Flexo Press Operator to join their dynamic team.

Job Details

This is a direct hire opportunity for the evening shift, operating from 4 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday. The role offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Flexo press to produce high-quality prints according to specific job requirements.
  • Prepare and set up machines for printing and die cutting processes.
  • Manage ink application, load substrates, install necessary tooling, and mount printing plates.
  • Adjust print impressions and oversee the press settings to ensure optimal performance.
  • Verify that substrates, inks, and tooling comply with quality specifications.
  • Thread web paper through the press and regulate feed and tension controls.
  • Make necessary adjustments to maintain ink distribution, speed, and temperature in the drying chamber.
  • Identify and resolve any operational issues promptly to minimize material waste.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and minor repairs of the presses.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Flexo Press Operator.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Resourcefulness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A collaborative mindset with effective communication skills.
