Job Summary

This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and marketing. Ideal candidate will develop and implement the sales and marketing plans and procedures to provide products to the SERVPRO franchise community and increase Division profitability. Provide excellent customer service to the Franchisees as it relates to their product and service needs. The Product Sales Manager also supports activities to build stronger relationships with contracted and preferred vendors.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and manage SERVPRO Product Marketing Plan for all current and future products.
  • Support and execute strategic initiatives for department that will drive revenue and/or margin, franchise engagement, stronger brand presence, and more effective franchise support.
  • Directly manage product sales team. Ensure objectives, Key Measurements, and Initiatives to ensure sales goals are achieved.
  • Identify and hire quality employees which results in an effective team. Train and develop team on sales, marketing, and communications to improve execution and results.
  • Build relationships with key Franchisees to increase Division revenue, customer satisfaction and Division credibility. Increase franchise participation in sales programs to maximize revenue growth.
  • Compile sales analysis to determine relevance of products to support pricing, thresholds, promotions and inventory.
  • Ensure that every sales and marketing initiative is supported by a ROI analysis to help determine effectiveness of actions.
  • Perform customer reviews to gain perspective on Division programs and ensure that our customers’ needs are being met. Develop and execute initiatives that are generated from this analysis to help support the franchise community.
  • Help plan and execute the Servpro annual convention trade show.
  • Build and maintain inter-departmental relationships.

Required Qualification (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams to peak performance.
  • Minimum 5-10 years related sales management or related experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Goal orientated and team player.
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload; well organized, detailed oriented.
  • Must be able to work in a cross functional team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related field preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced, high pressure office environment.
  • Standard working hours based on a 40 hour work week.
  • Additional working hours required as needed to complete assignments and projects on schedule.
  • Minimal travel as required for business needs.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands to finger to feel, handle or carry, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently required to stand and sit.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
