In this position, you will primarily work in the field, assisting clients by diagnosing, repairing, installing, and fabricating refrigeration systems, milking robots, and manure handling equipment for dairy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Traveling to local agricultural and dairy clients to install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment such as milking robots, manure systems, refrigeration units, etc.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Offering after-hours support and communication to clients
  • Maintaining and operating the service vehicle

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical skills with experience using hand and power tools
  • Preferred experience in refrigeration, air compressors, welding, electrical systems, basic plumbing, computer systems, and/or operating heavy machinery, though not mandatory
  • Ability to interpret prints, diagrams, manufacturing documentation, and manuals
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Eagerness to learn various systems
  • Positive attitude with a problem-solving approach and meticulous attention to detail
