Job Description

This is a key global leadership role within our Global Money Movement Solutions (MMS) team. Reporting directly to the VP of Global MMS Strategy and Business Operations, you will be responsible for independently managing multiple global workstreams and projects, driving critical strategic initiatives, and overseeing mission-critical business operations within the MMS. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 days a week, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency across the Global MMS.

2. Independently manage multiple global workstreams and projects, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

3. Partner with the MMS Chief Revenue Officer and the Head of Global MMS Strategy and Business Operations to drive strategic initiatives and business operations.

4. Orchestrate the alignment of the MMS team with other functions, including Marketing, Legal, CCM, CS, and VCA, around shared goals and priorities.

5. Conduct annual client segmentations and resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of resources within the MMS division.

6. Develop frameworks and processes to drive the design and development of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the MMS division. Lead OKR reporting for MMS, adapting tone, level of detail and presentation structure/format based on audience (for example, QBR vs Monthly Pack). Establish, maintain, and continually enhance governance around OKRs and steer organization to prioritize the highest value-add activities.

7. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across the Global MMS business and partner with other teams as needed to explore and deliver solutions.

8. Prepare executive reports and presentations to provide insights into strategic initiatives and operational performance of the MMS division.

9. Lead strategic projects in response to requests from Executive Leadership, Corporate Teams (e.g., Strategy, Transformation Office), and MMS Leadership Team.

10. Provide risk, compliance, and audit support for the MMS team, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

11. Find, synthesize facts, and data into draft narratives, storylines, reports, strategies, and plans to guide MMS operations and strategic initiatives.

12. As needed, serve as delegate for VP, Global MMS Strategy and Operations across all areas of responsibility and in all forums/meetings.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
• Demonstrated success in business operations, strategy, and planning roles
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
• Strong commercial acumen and solid business judgment
• Solid experience translating loose (often nebulous) thoughts into tactical plans
• Proven ability to formulate strategy, and demonstrated critical thinking and ability to operationalize strategy
• Strong teamwork, ability to work effectively across functions, levels and locations
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong executive presentation skills and presence
• Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide, inspire, and motivate teams

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 163,800 to 301,150 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
