Provide leadership and vendor management for categories assigned.
Review purchase requisitions and approve for commodities assigned.
Solicit and manage the evaluation, negotiation, and award contracts as per standard SOPs.
Handle contracts, including contractual terms, contract validation, contract monitoring.
Review the overall value offered by existing vendors and ensure procurement remains competitive.
Analyze market trends and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Build and maintain positive relationships with internal business partners and supply chain partners.
Work with Global Business Services to resolve invoice discrepancies. Perform work independently.
Solve routine and complex problems.
Provide direct back-up support for Regional Procurement Manager.
Participate in cross functional teams. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Display original thinking and creativity; Meet challenges with resourcefulness; Develop innovative approaches and ideas.
Travel Requirements 10%-20% (typically local travel).

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related field required.
Masters Degree preferred.
10+ years of experience.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously along with excellent time management skills and customer service skills.
Computer proficient with knowledge of SAP and Ariba preferred.
Bold leadership skills.
Honest, ethical, inclusive, transparent, leads by example. Follow established directions and SOPs.
Strong management skills & presentation experience.
LEAN management skills preferred.
A strong application of strategic Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, vendor management and other procurement principles.
Successful negotiation experience, contract management and execution.
Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint), experience.
Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple groups in the Company including Finance, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.
Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.

At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
