The Internal Wholesaler works within the life insurance sales organization, partnering with at least one Regional Vice President (RVP) in a geographical sales territory. 

This individual is responsible for partnering with RVP(s), creating new and managing existing relationships with representatives to increase life insurance sales within Concourse Financial Group, and achieve territory sales goals. 

This role is exclusively focused on servicing Edward Jones branches through phone, email, and virtual communication. This position requires an individual that has a strong sales-focused approach with professional communication skills, hard work ethic, and a competitive drive to succeed. 



Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesMake & receive sales calls on a daily basis, with new and existing representatives, to strengthen relationships and find selling opportunities. This includes sales campaigns, new business opportunities, follow-up calls, requests from branches, and other premium-driving activity as directed by management and RVP(s).Make prospecting calls and pass qualified leads along to RVP(s) to drive new producers.Maintain existing relationships to drive repeat producers.Provide product education to Edward Jones branches as an expert on their available life insurance products & processes, answering questions and comparing our services to that of our competition.Create sales opportunities and execute thoughtful follow-up to move these through the sales pipeline.Design illustrations/quotes for life insurance products, ensuring design is within Edward Jones guidelines.Work closely with the RVP(s) to develop and execute a strategic business plan to maximize territory sales growth.Utilize Concourse systems & databases to record and maintain all sales activity.Utilize Concourse systems & tools to generate territory sales leads and meaningful follow-up.
QualificationsSIE, Series 6, Series 63, and Life/health licenses requiredBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Prior insurance or investment sales experience strongly preferred.Must be adaptable and highly flexible to meet the needs of RVPs and insurance industry.Must have the ability to work in a challenging and collaborative environment.Competitive spirit and personal drive to succeed.Possess professional oral and written communication skills.Possess strong customer service skills.Proven attention to detail and ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.Must be a detail-oriented, well-organized self-starter with high energy and creativity.
