Responsibilities: 
– Contributes to the Marketing Communications job family in a support capacity.
– Coordinates activities involved in the preparation of advertising, sales promotion and publicity in support of the marketing of company products.
– Maintains schedules, tracks expenditures and budgets, maintains stock of literature, mails catalogs, updates and adds records to computer databases.
– May assist in the logistics of planning and set up for trade shows.
– Completes output (documents, analyses, product) in specific work area to appropriate time and quality targets.
– Works under own initiative, prioritizes own work, and meets agreed timescales.
– Work is subject to frequent review by more experienced professionals in Marketing Communications.
Skills:
– Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with strict timelines and dynamic priorities is required.
– Experience using critical thinking and problem solving to navigate complex processes and ambiguity is required
– Attention to detail with the ability to work with data systems and operational processes a must.
– Experience with Microsoft Office products including but not limited to PPT and OneNote as well as Adobe is required.
– Strong oral and written communication skills.
– Knowledge of group employee benefits, including SH products that include accidental injury, critical illness and hospital care insurance preferred.
– Experience in life and health insurance and/or medical is extremely helpful. Background in working with contracts a bonus.
Required Skills:
– MS office and general computer skills.
– Professional written and oral communication skill.
– Task management and organizational skills.
Education:
– Bachelor’s Degree preferred
– HS/GED with 2+ years insurance experience OR an Associate’s Degree required
 
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $20 to $25. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
