The Patient Access Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering training programs across all patient access functions within the Bitterroot Health System. The Patient Access Training Specialist will apply different training methodologies to develop patient access best practices, materials, and competency evaluations across all patient access services. Will be expected to run classes for new and existing hires, develop staff training plans based on the identified opportunities, and systematically address ongoing training needs in collaboration with functional department supervisors and managers. Ideal candidates for this position are engaging and customer-focused. The Patient Access Training Specialist reports to the Director of Patient Access. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Minimum two years’ experience in health care and patient access operations Minimum one year experience with Cerner applications CHAA certification preferred Excellent problem-solving skills Experience with formal adult learning concepts and performance improvement approaches strongly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft software (Word, Excel, etc.) Demonstrated ability to maintain a customer-centric service approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate and interact with all levels within Bitterroot Health Strong attention to detail and follow-up and ability to multi-task Demonstrated dedication to Bitterroot Health’s mission, vision, and values Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships Working knowledge of HIPAA, EMTALA, and other compliance policy Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week Benefits: This position is eligible for the full benefit #J-18808-Ljbffr
