Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Patient Registration Specialist to join our team at a local healthcare organization. As a Patient Registration Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately registering patients for appointments, tests, and procedures. You will also verify and update patient information, including insurance details, and collect co-pays and process payments as necessary. Additionally, you will assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and provide exceptional customer service while answering patient inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a patient registration or healthcare administrative role
  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to travel twice a week on a pre-determined schedule
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in healthcare software is a plus

Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
