ACA Account ManagerJob SummaryThe Account Manager is responsible for implementation of new clients, as well as ongoing management of existing clients. This position requires strong customer service, critical thinking, and time management skills. Individuals in this position are expected to promptly answer emails and phone calls from clients and brokers regarding account inquiries, processing and auditing of client data, and contact clients regarding account information, when necessary. Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork with a team of professionals to complete Affordable Care Act reporting for assigned national customersAct as the main point of contact for assigned clients and brokersDevelop and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnershipsMaintain accurate client records and track contract updatesLiaise between the client and internal business partnersProvides product and expert ACA compliance knowledge and supportPerform regulatory audits and year-round maintenanceCoordinates ACA process to ensure compliance with the Affordable Care Act reporting and IRS filingRegularly work 40+ hour weeks as workload requiresAdditional duties as requested by managementEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree preferredBachelor's degree preferredExperienceCustomer service experience requiredSales experience preferredSkills and AttributesCommunicate effectively in both written and verbal formProfessionalStrong work ethic, organization, and problem solving skillsExperience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamManage time-sensitive tasks effectively Above average knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPointExceptional decision-making and administrative skillsFlexible mindset and willingness to take on new challengesThrive in a fast-paced environmentMaintain strict deadlinesAttention to detailPlease apply directly on our site: A little about us: Medcom Benefit Solutions is made up of experts in the employee benefits field and beyond.
