Software Architect – Senior OMH Medical Informatics, Technical Services. Software Architect assigned to Technical Services unit of Medical Informatics. This position will be involved in many projects and initiatives all relating to information technology, data management, reporting, creation of software, and will serve as final programming sign‑off for junior programmers’ work for production migration. Day‑to‑Day The position will oversee the creation of new and regular maintenance of RedCap, associated flat files, relational databases, and associated scripts to adapt to changing business and regulatory requirements. The position will require utilization of approved tools such as RedCap, MySQL, and Python. Required Qualification Software Architect – Makes high‑level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi‑leveled architecture or component interactions of a large‑scale software system. Senior 60–84 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Requested Qualifications 60 months of experience managing data and/or reporting using Python 36 months of experience managing production code in GitHub or another Git solution 36 months experience preparing data for reporting 24 months experience in database design fundamentals 24 months experience scripting processes in PowerShell 12 months experience creating low‑code solutions with Power Automate or JSON parsing 12 months experience developing dynamic reports using a business intelligence reporting solution Bachelor's or higher degree in fields related to data science Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering and Information Technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
